Here you have two layered SketchUp files of a 2m x 2.5m garden room with insulated roof panel build-up. The files were created in SketchUp Pro but can be opened and played with, in the free web-based version of SketchUp.

File one is divided into the 'Scenes' we used to create the illustrations in the sample plans, allowing you to take a closer look at an aspect of the design.

The second file is the full layered model and is designed for you to play with. You can turn 'Layers" on and off allowing you to modify the design. For instance, you could turn off the exterior layers to reveal the framework if you wanted to add a window.

Are the Sample Plans Building Control Compliant?

No. Unless you are planning to sleep in your garden room, the size of our sample garden rooms does not need to be Building Control compliant.

It wouldn't be difficult to adapt the plans to make them Building Control compliant, but advice on that is beyond the scope of our service. 

Will the Sample Plans & eBook be updated?

Yes, we will update the costings in the 2m x 2.5m Garden Office Pod Sample Plans from time to time. We also update the Self Build Garden Room Guide eBook as the industry adopts new techniques and materials. You will have access to the updated versions via your account dashboard.
